BRIEFING MISSIONE:
Gennaio 2020, il governo ceco ha inviato un contingente militare a sostenere le forze ONU impegnate nel Sahel nel contrasto di Boko Haram, l’organizzazione terroristica jihadista che vuole imporre la legge islamica nel nord della Nigeria.
Le forze ONU a guida francese stanno cercando di riprendere il controllo di alcune provincie settentrionali supportando l’esercito nigeriano.
Gli informatori hanno riferito che a sud del villaggio di Walada ci sono almeno tre campi di Boko Haram e che in uno di questi hanno notato la
presenza di occidentali, forse missionari rapiti qualche mese fa per chiedere il riscatto ostaggi.
Lo scopo della missione sarà controllare l’area in cerca dei campi, distruggere le installazioni, raccogliere informazioni e verificare se le informazioni relative alla presenza di ostaggi sono vere.
